The next Royal Doulton from our collection is this vintage toby jug entitled Simon The Cellarer D5504. This is the large version standing approximately 6-1/4" tall x 7-1/2" wide. It features the character Simon The Cellarer with the handle representing the key to his cellar where he kept a vast amount of wine and ale during the 19th Century. Needless to say he was never short of friends! As you can see in the pictures it is in very good condition with no chips, crazing or repairs. There is a small scratch on right next to the top of the handle which you can see in the pictures. Still displays beautifully!!! Identified on the bottom Royal Doulton Made In England.
