The next Royal Doulton from our collection is this vintage toby jug entitled Old Salt D6554. This is the medium version standing approximately 4" tall x 3-1/2" wide. It features a bearded sea captain man with a mermaid as the handle. As you can see in the pictures it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. Identified on the bottom as D6554, Royal Doulton Copr 1960, RD No 898030, Rd No 40938, Rd No 8616, Rd No 572/60.
