The next Royal Doulton from our collection is this character jug entitled Merlin D6543. This is the smaller version standing approximately 2-1/2" tall x 3" wide. This character jug is inspired by a famous magician Merlin. It features Merlin with his flowing grey beard and his owl as the handle. As you can see in the pictures it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. Identified on the bottom as Merlin D6543, Copr 1959 Doulton & Co Limited. This jug would make a fantastic gift or display piece!
